Wenos AI › Proxy browser

Proxies

A proxy browser that checks the route first.

Every profile in Wenos AI can run behind its own proxy. The route is tested before the browser window ever opens — a dead proxy stops the run instead of leaking your real connection.

The point of a proxy browser is simple: the account should look like it lives where it says it lives, and it should stay that way. The failure mode is just as simple — the proxy dies quietly, the browser falls back to your home connection, and the account you were carefully keeping separate just announced your real IP.

Wenos AI tests the route before the window opens.

A connection per account

  • Dedicated proxy. The account gets its own IP, tested before the browser launches.
  • Or your normal connection. Not every account needs a proxy. Per-profile, you decide.
  • Tested, not assumed. If the route fails, the run stops rather than silently going direct.
  • Stable per profile. An account keeps the same exit each time, so it isn't hopping countries between sessions.

Why the pre-flight check matters

Proxies fail constantly — pools rotate, credentials expire, providers throttle. A browser that shrugs and connects anyway is worse than no proxy at all, because you'll believe the separation is holding for weeks after it stopped. Checking first turns a silent leak into a visible, boring error.

Route verified first

The exit IP is confirmed before the profile is allowed to open.

Fails loudly

A dead route stops the run. It never quietly becomes your home connection.

Bound to the profile

The proxy belongs to that account's isolated browser, not to the whole app.

Works with the agent

Recorded skills run inside the proxied profile, so automated work uses the same route you configured.

Bring your own provider

Wenos doesn't sell you proxies. You point a profile at the residential, mobile or datacentre endpoint you already pay for, and Wenos handles binding it to that browser and checking it stays alive. If you don't use proxies at all, nothing changes — profiles are still fully isolated from each other on your normal connection.

Proxies here are about keeping accounts you own cleanly separated. They aren't a way around a platform's rules, and Wenos won't pretend otherwise.

Local by design

The browsers, the profiles and the proxy settings all live on your Mac. There's no cloud panel holding your session cookies, because there's no cloud in the path at all — the traffic goes from your machine, through your proxy, to the site.

Questions people actually ask

Does Wenos sell proxies?

No. You bring your own provider and assign an endpoint per profile; Wenos binds it to that browser and tests it before each run.

What happens if my proxy goes down mid-run?

The route is checked before the browser opens, so a dead proxy stops the run rather than falling back to your normal connection.

Can some accounts use a proxy and others not?

Yes — it's set per profile. An account can have a dedicated IP or use your Mac's normal connection, and you can change it later.

Do residential and mobile proxies work?

Any endpoint you can point a browser at works the same way. The type is your choice; Wenos cares about whether the route answers.

Are accounts still separated without proxies?

Yes. Cookies, storage and fingerprint are isolated per profile regardless. The proxy separates the connection on top of that.

Teach it once. It runs forever.
